Staff Application Guidelines Empty
PostSubject: Staff Application Guidelines   Staff Application Guidelines I_icon_minitimeSat Jan 03, 2015 6:18 pm

Here is what you need to know prior to applying for staff:

Ranks You Can Apply For: Helper, Moderator, Head Moderator, and Developer. (Just because you apply for it doesn't mean you'll get it.)

Explanation of Ranks:

Helper: Helpers are there to just, well, help! You welcome new players, or welcome back old ones. You help players, answer questions, help staff, and give out nicknames. Helper and Moderator are the same rank, just very different jobs.

Moderator: Moderators are there to just look good and smile. (Not really  ) As a Moderator you enforce rules, give out punishments when necessary, check for hackers, and also preform the jobs of a Helper as well. So Moderators not only have the jobs of a Helper, but more! Just because you apply for Moderator and get Helper doesn't mean that 'we don't like you' or 'we don't think you're smart', we just think you'd be better suited for that job.

Head-Moderators: Now it gets tough here. Head-Moderators not only have their own specific jobs to preform, but they also have those of a Moderator and Helper. Head-Moderator jobs include giving out punishments that Helpers and Moderators cannot. Solving player issues, and complete moderation of the server. Along with the Jobs of Moderator and Helper .

Developer: A Developer doesn't have any of the jobs or Helpers, Moderators, or Head-Moderators but can still preform them if they wish. A Developer is really there to help the sever with plugins, resource packs, or anything up that alley. As a developer you will require basic plugin and java script knowledge, and experience in making resource packs. As a developer you can still preform the tasks of other staff, but your main job is developing plugins and the like. Remember, developers must be completely voluntary. Developers will not be paid they just do what they do for the good of the server.

Staff Rules:

  1. All regular player rules still apply, you just get some more!
  2. Staff are NEVER allowed to grief. No matter what.
  3. If you are granted with all elements, avatar state, or god mode you are not allowed to use it against regular players.
  4. You can never give any creative items to anyone.
  5. You can never use your commands unfairly.
  6. Any staff member higher than you has more authority. Listen to them and respect them.
  7. You are encouraged to play on the server as you normally would but staff duties come first! Don't just be a 'staff-robot' and not enjoy the server.

Guidelines:

  • Title your post correctly. (<Name>'s Staff Application. Or for developer <Name>'s Developer Application.)
  • Leave a space between questions and answers. (Makes it easier to read)
  • Check spelling and grammar. (Makes it easier to understand.)
  • Don't lie. If I find out you lied, then you will lose your rank or chance of getting it.
  • Don't post your application as a comment to this topic! Any comments here should be questions/concerns. Start a new thread for your application.
  • Don't ask about your application. Asking if you're going to be staff or not will void your chances of being staff.

Requirements prior to applying:

  1. At least 1 week play time on the server before your application will be considered.
  2. Knowledge of server rules and it's plugins
  3. A good attitude and willingness for the job.
  4. Routine access to Skype to keep up.
  5. Basic experience.
